Bookkeeping and outsourced CFO
Bookkeeping, financial control, management reporting and outsourced CFO functions to grow and scale your business.
Bookkeeping for a US company is not a box to tick before tax season. Without clean books you cannot file an accurate return, answer a bank's question about where funds came from, or know what the business really earns. When the owner lives abroad and keeps the books alone or with a non-US accountant, the errors tend to surface in spring, when they cost the most to fix.
Edeal keeps the books for US companies and takes on financial management, from core bookkeeping to fractional CFO work. We size the scope to your stage of business instead of selling one package to everyone.

Services in this areaLevels of support
Our packages differ in how deep we go into your numbers:
- First step for new companies. For companies formed this year without active operations yet, or with zero filings so far. Simplified bookkeeping with transactions grouped by category.
- Bookkeeping. Accurate books and IRS compliance for operating companies, without strategic finance.
- Bookkeeping plus management reporting. For businesses that want to see profitability and manage cash flow.
- Accounting, economics and analytics. For growing companies with several business lines, many SKUs or e-commerce: budget, plan-versus-actual, a financial model, profitability and cash gap analysis.
- Fractional CFO. A full outsourced finance lead: growth model, strategy, company architecture and investment readiness.
What bookkeeping covers
- recording every transaction and reconciling bank and payment accounts;
- categorizing income and expenses and fixing errors and duplicates;
- P&L and balance sheet, with cash flow reports and forecasts on higher tiers;
- tracking quarterly estimated tax payments;
- sales tax calculation and state filings when dedicated sales tax software is connected;
- for Amazon sellers, Seller Central data, FBA inventory and storage fee tracking;
- catch-up bookkeeping for periods that were never recorded.
Onboarding
Before regular service begins, there is a setup stage. During it we:
- open your client portal, which handles all document exchange;
- configure the accounting software for your business and connect your data sources;
- review the current state of your books and enter historical data in the agreed scope;
- run an intro session and show you how we work together.
Month to month
All documents move through a secure client portal. Monthly documents are best uploaded by the 10th of the following month, with the 25th as the final cut-off; for quarterly estimates, by the 5th of the month after the quarter ends. Pricing depends on turnover and transaction volume and is recalculated based on actual activity, up or down.
If you receive a letter from the IRS or another agency, upload it right away. Responding and defending your position is separate specialist work, but the earlier we see a letter, the more options remain.
State annual reports and good standing
Almost every state requires an annual report, and some add a franchise tax. Miss it and the company loses good standing, which quickly turns into questions from banks and counterparties. We track state report and registered agent deadlines so your company stays in order.
Books that support tax planning
Year-round bookkeeping is the foundation for your annual return and for decisions that legally lower your tax. Bookkeeping clients get preferred terms on annual tax return filing, and higher tiers include strategy sessions with a step-by-step plan.
FAQ
Can you take over an existing company?
Yes. We take on operating companies, including ones that were not formed through Edeal. During onboarding we review your current books and migrate the data.
What if the books were never kept?
We reconstruct them for prior periods. This is separate work, scoped after we review your statements.
What does pricing depend on?
The package, your company's turnover and the number of transactions. Pricing is recalculated based on actual activity, up or down.
How is a fractional CFO different from a bookkeeper?
A bookkeeper keeps accurate books and reports. A fractional CFO works on strategy: financial model, budget, profitability, cash gaps and investment readiness.
Do you work with Amazon sellers?
Yes. Higher tiers include Seller Central data, SKU-level analysis, FBA inventory and storage fee tracking.
Do you handle sales tax filings?
Yes, when dedicated sales tax software is connected. State filings are submitted by the 20th of the month following the reporting period.
